World's Largest Volcano Discovered!
Recently a new volcano was discovered about 1,000 miles east of Japan. Tamu Massif is the size of New Mexico and the biggest volcano on Earth. Its size also puts it as one of the largest volcanoes in the SOLAR SYSTEM! The volcano is made of basalt and lies on Shatsky Rise in the northwestern Pacific Ocean.
